Also, regularly reading dental journals and being a member of various professional dental associations helps Dr. Turchin to stay abreast of the changes and recommendations for the dental profession. Dr. Turchin was selected as one of "America's Top Dentists" from 2009 to 2014. He was also awarded the Patient FYI Award of Excellence in 2010. Patient Education: This is an important component of my practice. I talk about the connection between dental health and overall health while emphasizing the importance of regular visits to maintain dental health and prevent crisis situations. We want all our patients to know that the health of their bodies starts in the mouth. By emphasizing regular and preventative dental care we ensure our patients' the best oral health and overall health, along with reduced discomfort.
